Vinyl chloride/vinyl acetate copolymer
SOLBIN
This modified resin has high adhesive performance and solubility derived from the toughness and chemical resistance of vinyl chloride and the adhesive strength and flexibility of vinyl acetate. In addition, other polar groups are added. Among SOLBIN's advantages are that it is tasteless, odorless, and highly waterproof. The product has also a low percentage of water absorption. SOLBIN is used in binders for magnetic tapes and cards, coatings for beverage cans, moistureproof cellophane, as well as paints, inks, and adhesives. -

Vinyl chloride emulsion
Nissin Chemical was one of the first manufacturers in the world to develop this type of innovative emulsion product using special copolymer technology. This unique product effectively uses the characteristics of vinyl chloride so that the adhesive can be used with various materials, including vinyl chloride products. In addition, the products is good for high-frequency welding, and is nonflammable. This vinyl chloride emulsion is highly utilized by industry, especially in adhesives and coatings. -
Vinyl acetate emulsion
This synthetic-resin adhesive in milky liquid form is obtained through our original emulsion polymerization technology. The product spreads smoothly, and has high adhesive strength, flexibility, and is tolerant to deflection. The resulting dry films are colorless and transparent, thus will not taint the matter to witch they are adhered. The vinyl acetate emulsion products are used for a wide range of purposes, including paper processing, fiber processing, and in wood products. -
Acrylic emulsions
Our acrylic emulsions have been designed with innovative ideas and our long experience in copolymerization technology for ester acrylate. The products are widely used in pressure-sensitive adhesives, fiber processing agents, sealants, and adhesives. We offer a lineup of pressure-sensitive adhesives with such features as high adhesive strength and cohesion, outstanding waterproof performance, and ability to adhere to damp surfaces. As a fiber-processing agent, our acrylic emulsion can be used to improve the features of substrates.

Hot-melt adhesive
NISSIN HOT MELT
This adhesive is a solid at room temperature. To apply the adhesive, heat it to melt using an applicator. Seconds after application, it solidifies to adhere. This product is used in areas where speed and high productivity are vital. NISSIN HOT MELT is widely used in bookbinding, box assembly and bag making, as well as for plywood and sanitary materials. -
Acetylenic chemicals
SURFYNOL/OLFINE
As part of our entry into the fine-chemicals market, we developed acetylenic alcohol and glycols using our original technology in 1970. In 1975, we became aligned with Air Products of the United States and stopped manufacturing acetylenic alcohol and glycols ourselves. We signed a contract as their general agency to import and distribute acetylenic chemicals manufactured by Air Products. Today, we sell SURFYNOL nonionic surfactant, SVS polymeric anion surfactant, Ancor anticorrosive for metals, and other products.

We were one of the first manufacturers in the world to develop this special copolymer to provide fiber's, paper and resin with completely new functions. With CHALINE, film with high resilience and low stickiness is made with an emulsion to provide such functions as high weather resistance, heat resistance, smoothness, and durability. CHALINE R is a powdered version of silicone/acrylic copolymer resin, which offers the superior surface characteristics of silicone and acrylic's good compatibility with other types of resin. Thus, the product has high mutual solubility with vinyl chloride resin, ethylene propylene diene terpolymer (EPDM), and other synthesized resins. The silicone component gives a surface better sliding performance, antifriction, blocking resistance as well as controlling vibration and noise.
